Payload structures, modal test campaigns, failure analysis, and analysis-led recovery.

Payload Structure — Concept Through Launch

End-to-end ownership of a major payload structure — from initial development and interface definition with the bus provider through architectural layout, load-cycle analysis, and final sine and acoustic test ahead of fairing integration.

Modal Test — Prediction Through Correlation

Full-cycle modal test ownership — pre-test predictions, instrumentation and excitation definition, on-site test support, and post-test model correlation against orthogonality and correlation criteria.

Progressive Failure Analysis — Test Basis

Identified negative margins ahead of a test campaign. Established the basis to proceed using progressive failure analysis and refined the instrumentation plan to capture the predicted response. The article failed as predicted.

Assembly Distortion Recovery

Nonlinear contact analysis of a thin gasketed interface exhibiting excessive bolt-up deflection. Devised a compliant feature introducing a precise opposing deflection to restore assembly fit and installation tolerance.
